"Change the Assembly" Tour Kicks Off

Earlier today, Brian Moran and the Virginia Democratic leadership met at the State Capitol to kick off their “Change the Assembly” tour.
“Whether it was opposing the largest investment in public education or trying to fund transportation with $1000 speeding tickets, the people of Virginia are tired of the Republicans governing through rigid ideology and gimmicks.” House Democratic Caucus Chairman Brian Moran said. “Last year we remodeled the State Capitol, this year we need to change the people that serve on the inside.”

Lowell at Raising Kaine talked to Delegates Brian Moran and Ward Armstrong this morning, noting some of the topics discussed on his blog.
Eileen Levandoski asked about pre-k education, and Brian Moran said “we support the governor’s plan” as an “investment in our future.” Armstrong noted that Democrats are viewed as much stronger on education, and that Republicans are against this investment.
