Moran Launches “Fighting for Virginia” Tour

~ Statewide Tour Highlights Who Moran Will Fight for As Governor~

ALEXANDRIA – On Saturday, Brian Moran will launch his multi-day statewide “Fighting for Virginia” tour to spotlight some of the people across Virginia who he plans to fight for as Governor. The tour will begin in Western Virginia with stops in Appomattox, Charlottesville, Staunton and Harrisonburg on Saturday.

Moran will discuss detailed plans for seniors, education, job creation, the environment, health care and myriad other issues.

“Virginians know that I have a proven record of fighting for them – it’s a record they can trust,” Moran said about the tour. “In the final 10 days, I will remind Virginians who I am going to fight for and what we need done in the next four years. Throughout this tour, we will talk with Virginians that are struggling and lay out my bold, progressive vision for where to take our Commonwealth.”

Headline a breakfast with local supporters to unveil plans for rural economic development. Unemployment in Appomattox has risen to nearly 9%.

Brian Moran has a 20-year record of fighting for the people of Virginia. He was Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus and a Delegate from Alexandria City and Fairfax County. Prior to that, he served as a prosecutor in Arlington County.
